AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Riffa Views International School aims to provide the student body, faculty and parent community with a wide variety of choices for social, physical, creative, intellectual and cultural experiences. The purpose of after school activities is to broaden the personal experience of the children, to complement the academic mission of the school and to enrich the quality of life for the school community.

After school activities (ASA) program provides an opportunity for students to experience a wide range of activities such as sports, gardening, community service, cooking, drama, crafts, and music.  As a faculty member at RVIS you will be expected to participate in/supervise afterschool activities for 20 student hours per school year. After school activities are a great way to get to know students that you teach and to work with students in a non academic setting.  Teachers are encouraged to promote activities of their own interest.  Teachers wishing to contribute to school projects outside of the normal curriculum expectations ordinarily expected of the teacher and outside of the ASA program may submit a written proposal to the director. Contact hours allocated for ASA may be used toward approved proposals. The assignment of such projects will be at the sole discretion of the school administration.
